Innisfail Leprechauns
RLFC, in conjunction with Far North Queensland Rugby League (FNQRL) and the
Queensland Rugby League (QRL), is aware of a police matter and court
proceedings involving the then Head Coach of the Club.
Upon being notified of
the situation, the Club took immediate action to stand the individual down from
all duties associated with the Innisfail Leprechauns. In accordance with the
Community Rugby League Terms and Conditions of NRL Registration, the individual
is no longer associated with the Club in any capacity. The Club does not
condone any behaviour that contradicts our culture and values.
The wellbeing of our
rugby league community remains our absolute priority. Measures will be in place
for this weekend's upcoming home game and beyond to ensure the safety and
comfort of all attendees.
The Club acknowledges
the support of the QRL and FNQRL.
No further comment will be made while this matter is before the courts.
